VAMW is a major provider of residential and supported living services for people who have learning disabilities in the Lanarkshire area.

We are committed to providing the type and level of care and assistance needed and preferred by the people we support at times that suit each person. This commitment helps us to assist people in reaching their potential and by this we mean that each person is provided with the opportunity to live a rich, fulfilled lifestyle that is meaningful to them.

To help us maintain our commitment to the people we support we invest heavily in staff development and have successfully achieved and maintained the Investors in People award since 1999. Our dedication to staff development is also shown by providing the opportunity for staff to have team meetings, regular support and supervision sessions and annual appraisals, all of which contribute to our quality assurance system.
